Administration Manager and Support Worker
We are seeking an experienced and organised Administration Manager and Support Worker to join our close-knit team at Thrive Support Services (J & S Cummins Pty Ltd) in Echuca, VIC. This is a full-time role providing essential administrative support and office management to our growing business.
Key Responsibilities
* Rostering Management: Create, maintain, and adjust staff rosters to meet client needs and ensure compliance with award conditions. Coordinate shift replacements and manage staff availability. Communicate roster changes to staff in a timely manner.
* Document Management: Maintain and update participant and staff records in line with privacy and compliance requirements. Manage administrative filing systems, both electronic and physical. Assist with audits and quality compliance documentation.
* Administration Support: Provide administrative support to management and support staff. Answer calls, respond to emails, coordinate internal communications. Order office supplies and manage office-related logistics. Support the implementation of new processes and systems to improve efficiency. Serve as a point of contact for employees. Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
* Support Work: Provide personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting). Assist with household tasks (cooking, cleaning, laundry). Support community participation (appointments, shopping, social outings). Encourage independence, dignity, and active living. Observe, document, and report on client progress and wellbeing. Assist clients in group activities and social interactions.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in rostering management, preferably in the aged or disability care sector.
* Strong computer literacy and familiarity with administrative software (e.g., Microsoft Office, rostering systems like ShiftCare or Deputy).
* Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of NDIS or aged care compliance standards (preferred).
* Previous experience or willingness to perform support work when required.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Current Driver's Licence, National Police Check, and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Relevant qualification in business administration or community services (desirable).
