Family Support Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be working closely with families to provide holistic support and services that cater to their complex needs.
* Our ideal candidate is someone who understands the importance of family dynamics and can work effectively with parents and carers to create safe and nurturing environments for children.
* You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong computer skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
As a Family Support Specialist, you will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a high level of professionalism and respect for all clients and colleagues.
We offer a competitive salary package, access to salary sacrificing benefits, accommodation allowance, and 11.5% Superannuation. The hours of employment are 38 hours per week, which may include overnight travel to Derby.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide holistic support to families with complex needs, focusing on creating safe and nurturing environments for children.
* To work closely with parents and carers to understand their individual needs and develop personalized plans to address these needs.
* To maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and outcomes.
