An exciting opportunity has become available for an merchandise planning assistant to join our rapidly growing team in a full time, permanent capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Actively manage the delivery schedule of all incoming stock
* Identifying & resolving any intake issues in collaboration with MAA & BAA updating systems accordingly
* Processing weekly markdowns & re-prices as advised by the planning team
* Conduct option plan management & auditing daily
* Run product line cards & forecasting with clear communication to the buying team
* Conducts size curve analysis & complete sizing tool updates
* Able to make suggestions for sizing mix changes needed to optimise sales
* Proactively contributes to department trade each week following up on any actions & updating the team
* Confident and concise presentation of analysis in relevant meetings
* Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis & data entry
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree is preferred, however raw talent, attitude and skills are always highly valued
* Exceptional organisational skills
* Strong skills in Google Sheets/Excel is preferred
* High level of accuracy & attention to detail
* Has an aptitude for retail maths and analysis
* Can work autonomously as well as part of a team
* Ability to manage a high workload and be able to work to tight deadlines
* Flexible and Adaptable- be able to re-prioritise workload based on business priorities
* Strong Communicator- ability to form relationships across the business
