Location: Bunbury (primary) with occasional Busselton support
Hours: Full-time (includes rostered Saturdays)
About the role
Join a reputable local team and turn warm enquiries into satisfied customers and completed installations. You’ll provide consultations in-store, conduct site visits, prepare transparent quotes, and smoothly hand over jobs to our admin/digital team. We prioritise values first: kindness, ownership, curiosity, and craftsmanship, followed by coaching the necessary skills.
What you’ll do
Customer consults: Welcome walk-ins and enquiries, ask great discovery questions, present good/better/best options without pressure.
Quotes & next steps: Prepare tidy quotes with inclusions/exclusions and clear CTAs; book site visits as needed.
Site visits & scoping: Measure, photograph, note flue/duct paths and power; liaise with installers/builders to de-risk installs.
Pipeline discipline: Follow up promptly, keep notes clean, and hand over accurately to the admin for scheduling/invoicing.
Showroom & brand: Keep across promos/displays and represent Hearth House professionally in store and on site.
You’ll thrive here if you have
Retail or consultative sales experience (home/trade/showroom ideal).
Clear written comms and a confident phone/in-person manner.
Organised habits: calendars, follow-ups, tidy notes and photos.
Comfortable with light tech (email, basic spreadsheets/CRM; we’ll train you on our tools).
Nice to have: heating/cooling or building/renovation background; WA install basics.
What we offer
Competitive base + super + commission, clear KPIs, training and a supportive local team — all in a safe, inclusive, family-first workplace.
Real progression: We promote from within and advertise roles internally where possible, offering paths into senior sales, site scoping, or store leadership.
Growing business & modern tools: work alongside our Hearth House HQ systems (and practical AI) to sell smarter.
Staff discounts on heating, cooling and outdoor living products.
