Being a Support Worker is a vital position focused on supporting children and young people with significant disabilities. To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following requirements: Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and have relevant experience. About you As a Support Worker, you will have: Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC) A National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC) Willingness to provide consent to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR) Availability to work across a 24/7 roster Minimum Certificate IV in Disability Services, Community Services or Individual Support OR Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, and have relevant experience. A day in the role of a Children's Services Disability Support Worker As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in offering essential care and support to children and young people who may be facing various challenges.
