Overview
SAG Workforce is recruiting an experienced hands-on Site Manager / Foreman for a well-established commercial building company delivering projects across Brisbane. This role suits someone who leads from the front, understands construction sequencing, and isn’t afraid to jump in and help move a site forward. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, working closely with project management and subcontractors to keep projects running safely, efficiently, and on program. This is not a desk-only role — we’re looking for a practical operator who can read plans, coordinate trades, and actively assist with site progression where required.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily site activities on commercial building projects
* Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and programs
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries
* Lead site safety, toolbox talks, and compliance with WHS requirements
* Assist with hands-on tasks where required to keep the site moving
* Monitor quality, productivity, and workmanship on site
* Identify and resolve site issues proactively
* Liaise with supervisors, project managers, and consultants
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Site Manager, Foreman, or Senior Supervisor on commercial building projects
* Strong ability to read and understand construction plans
* Hands-on leadership style with a strong work ethic
* Sound understanding of construction sequencing and programming
* Ability to manage multiple trades and push productivity
* Strong safety focus and attention to detail
* White Card (essential)
* Trade background highly regarded
