Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to oversee Finance Operations and FP&A for our Australia business within a fast-scaling healthcare environment.
This role combines end-to-end AU finance operations, NDIS and SAH funding oversight, statutory and tax compliance, and commercial financial analysis. You will play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls while partnering closely with AU Country Leadership and Group Finance to support profitability and disciplined growth.
This role requires strong technical foundations, attention to detail, and the ability to translate financial insights into practical business actions in a dynamic operating environment.
Responsibilities
Finance Operations & Compliance
* Lead and manage the AU finance team, providing guidance and oversight.
* Own the Australia group financials, month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate management reporting.
* Manage day-to-day finance operations including revenue recognition, payables, receivables, payroll and reconciliations.
* Monitor debtor days and collections cycles to support healthy cash flow.
* Maintain balance sheet integrity and strong financial controls.
* Implement and strengthen internal accounting controls in line with Group and regulatory requirements.
* Support implementation of finance policies and compliance procedures.
* Support the development and implementation of structured finance processes for NDIS and SAH funding streams.
* Ensure compliance with funding rules, pricing arrangements and claim requirements.
* Work closely with Operations to reduce discrepancies and strengthen documentation discipline.
* Support audit and regulatory documentation requirements and funding reviews.
* FP&A and Commercial Support
* Support preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
* Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, margin drivers and unit economics insights.
* Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, workforce costs and cash flow forecasting.
* Support pricing and cost optimisation decisions.
* Provide financial analysis and support for Group-level initiatives and strategic projects as required.
Statutory & Tax Compliance
* Manage tax compliance including BAS, corporate tax returns, payroll tax, PAYG and superannuation.
* Support year-end audit and statutory reporting processes.
* Work with external auditors, tax agents and regulatory bodies as required.
* Ensure ongoing ASIC compliance and statutory filings.
* Strengthen finance processes and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
* Support automation initiatives and system enhancements.
* Identify opportunities to improve controls, workflow and data quality.
Qualifications
* 6–8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
* Strong exposure to Australian statutory and tax compliance (BAS, payroll tax, PAYG, superannuation).
* Experience in SAH and/or NDIS finance operations and compliance strongly preferred.
* Background in healthcare, disability services, or government-funded sectors is advantageous.
* Experience in a fast-growing or scaling environment is preferred.
