About the role
As a part of our Commercial team, the Business Analyst plays a key role in delivering commercial and operational reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce fortnightly staff cost forecasts and month-end board packs with insightful analysis to explain month end labour result.
* Maintain and analyse daily labour data and align operational rosters with master rosters.
* Conduct roster analysis to support roster approval, costing any proposed roster changes
* Generate various operations and workforce reports such as onboarding, vacant shifts etc. as well as reports requested from the government departments (e.g., 24/7 Nurse, NQIP, QFR).
* Provide various inputs for the annual budget
* Assist in refining tools, procedures, and processes across the team.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent.
* Previous experience in a Business Analyst role with reporting and analytical experience within a large and complex organisation
* Advanced data and analytic skills including advanced experience with MS Excel
* Demonstrated experience interpreting Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, Awards, and legislation is preferrable
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
