Role details
In this dynamic role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of our theatres. From setting up surgical equipment to maintaining a sterile environment, your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly contribute to providing exceptional patient care. As a Theatre Orderly, you'll be part of a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, working together to deliver high-quality surgical services.
Duties
- General and/or specialised cleaning of areas and equipment
- Fetch and Carry Handling Tasks
- Setting up and operating of theatre equipment
- Maintenance and checking of equipment
- Interpreting complex instructions and procedures
- Providing guidance and assistance within your area of expertise to other employees
- Understanding and applying quality control techniques
About you
To excel in this position, you'll need to possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. An AQF Certificate III relevant to the position is required but this does preclude you from submitting an application. Previous experience within an operating room environment would be advantageous; previous healthcare experience would also be beneficial.
