We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in the Central Sterilizing Services Department. The successful candidate will work independently, ensuring all stages of reprocessing services for patient care equipment and surgical instruments are completed efficiently and effectively.
The role involves performing daily activities and duties, monitoring the operation of reprocessing equipment, reporting failures and maintaining safety standards. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with training new staff members, use processing equipment safely, manage stock levels and respond to customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform all daily activities and duties in the Central Sterilizing Services Department
* Monitor and report on the operation of reprocessing equipment
* Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members
* Use equipment safely and maintain a clean working environment
* Respond to customer inquiries and provide great customer service
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team. A strong understanding of sterilization procedures and practices is also essential.

Requirements:
