About the Role
As the Instructional Designer, you will create engaging and interactive learning experiences for diverse audiences, transforming complex information into clear, accessible content that supports different learning styles. You will work closely with subject-matter experts and stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality learning solutions aligned with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop learner-centric content across multiple formats (e-learning, instructor-led, blended, microlearning, videos, simulations).
Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to ensure effectiveness and inclusivity.
Develop storyboards, scripts, and prototypes aligned with learning objectives.
Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather requirements and validate content.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines, scope, and quality standards are met.
Continuously improve learning solutions based on feedback and performance data.
About You
Significant experience creating learning materials for varied audiences.
Proven ability to design interactive learning content for government, corporate, or industry settings.
Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design models, and learning technologies.
Experience with accessibility standards and inclusive design.
Excellent time-management and organisational skills in fast-paced environments.
Creative flair for visual storytelling and user experience design.
Proficiency in authoring tools (Articulate, Adobe, Camtasia), LMS platforms, Microsoft 365, and project tracking tools.
Experience in the utilities industry is highly regarded.
