Job Description:
Thiess is looking for a driven professional to oversee the maintenance of mobile plant equipment at our Olive Downs Complex in Moranbah. In this crucial role, you will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness define all operations.
As a Tyre Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring all tyre and equipment maintenance aligns with the highest standards of safety, compliance, and performance. This includes:
* Implementing safety plans and monitoring quality control across tyre maintenance tasks
* Managing tyre inventory and coordinating maintenance schedules
* Liaising with internal stakeholders to enhance coordination and communication
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current and valid Driver's Licence
* A Mechanical Trade Certificate or tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* Significant experience in removing, inspecting, and fitting earthmoving tyres in a mining environment
* Strong competency in financial management and scheduling tools
