Responsibilities
* Quantify and cost construction work.
* Perform quantity take-off and prepare bills of quantities.
* Prepare estimates, quantities, prices, and costing for projects.
* Interface with project managers and engineers to manage risks and opportunities.
* Understand and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
* Analyse materials, products, or qualitative or quantitative work outputs for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
* Review tender documentation and information.
* Interpret specifications and standards and assess their impact on project costs.
* Support the team with pre-contracts and business development activities.
Requirements
We're looking for a driven, self-motivated individual who is passionate about achieving results. Ideally, you'll bring experience from a Civil Construction background, having worked across a variety of projects.
Exposure to sectors such as Electricity, Oil & Gas, Rail, Water, and Renewable Energy will be highly regarded. Proficiency with estimating software is essential.
