The Project has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Producer to join our daily editorial team in Melbourne.
In this role you will:
* Produce well-researched and informative pieces that encourage conversation
* Mentor other producers, offering guidance and editorial direction
* Help to convey The Project’s unique tone and voice
* Deliver agenda-setting current affairs packages of national significance
* Join a dynamic and creative newsroom at the forefront of Australia’s changing TV landscape
About you
We’re looking for an experienced journalist who is plugged into current social and political events and issues to create engaging television for a primetime national audience.
* Experience leading and managing a team
* Strong journalistic skills and editorial judgment
* Ability to produce engaging television packages
* Experience in creative writing and storytelling
* Extensive general knowledge; social and political awareness
