About the role
Join our Corporate Advisory team as an Executive Assistant, working closely with a Partner and team of lawyers in a high-performing and supportive environment.
G+T's Corporate Advisory specialists advise across Australia's most significant deals and governance issues. With deep expertise in capital markets, M&A and board advisory, the team is known for partnering closely with clients to deliver technically sound, commercially strategic advice on critical matters across a broad range of sectors.
The day-to-day responsibilities in the role include:
* Diary and email management
* Monthly billing and accounts reporting/management
* Document and file management of multiple files
* Liaising with clients and other parties
* Attending to e-filing processes
* Organising travel, flights and accommodation
* Ad hoc administration duties
About You
As an experienced Executive Assistant – ideally with a background in legal administration – you will bring:
* At least three years' experience as an Executive Assistant or Legal Secretary, or equivalent practical experience
* High reliability and attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy in billing, documentation and proofreading
* Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and complex schedules with efficiency
* Confidence working within structured systems, including maintaining consistent filing practices and document management protocols
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
* A proactive, can-do mindset, with the initiative to anticipate team needs and provide seamless, responsive support
* Competency in Microsoft Office (or similar tools), with the ability to quickly learn new systems where required
