Role Overview
This role involves leading the transition and decommissioning of transferred COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria (CQV) statutory obligations in partnership with departmental work streams, including Finances, Technology Solutions, Information and People Services, and other agencies.
About The Role
The incumbent will report to the Executive Director, Legal Services Coordination and Entity Governance, leading the acquittal of outstanding CQV obligations, including the appropriate sentencing of program records and decommissioning of information systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage budget and reporting for all CQV-related expenditure, including submission of business cases and funding requests.
* Initiate cross-disciplinary records management and information system decommissioning projects, resourcing and overseeing governance and coordination to ensure that work streams are within timelines and budget.
* Lead sourcing and contract management activities with endorsements from Procurement Category Managers and deliver contract closure and transition out activities under government purchasing and contract management frameworks and departmental approval processes.

Requirements
* Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering strategic initiatives that impact or engage multi-disciplinary functional areas under statutory frameworks.
* Significant and demonstrable knowledge of government decision-making frameworks and public body common statutory obligations, including procurement, financial processes, information management and regulatory review.
* Significant experience working within areas requiring detailed governance, experience with data classification, public records retention, and decommissioning of business units in government.
