Job Title: Senior Civil Drafter
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented professional to lead civil engineering design projects and play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
In this role, you'll oversee project delivery with a focus on efficiency, profitability, and operational excellence. You will take ownership of design work using AutoCAD, while actively engaging with internal stakeholders and clients to strengthen relationships and ensure exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading civil engineering design projects for a variety of key clients
2. Preparing and overseeing designs using AutoCAD
3. Engaging with and helping develop relationships with internal stakeholders and key clients
4. Focusing on cost containment, efficiency, profitability and project operations
5. Contributing innovative ideas to the team and suggesting ways to improve quality and efficiency of our services as well as mentoring juniors
Requirements:
* Hold a Diploma or Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering
* Bring at least 10 years of experience in civil engineering design
* Have a high level of proficiency with AutoCAD
* Experience using 12D or Civil 3D is highly regarded
* Exposure to Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) projects and familiarity with ProjectWise would be advantageous
* Strong communication skills, coupled with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
