About the Role
You will play a vital part in the efficient handling of bulk shipping activities and documentation for export coal sales. This is a full-time role working 8:30am - 5pm, based in our Newcastle office.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Preparation and presentation of commercial invoices, export documentation, and letters of credit according to contractual terms.
* Liaising with international customers, banks, and vessel agents regarding cargo readiness and documentary requirements.
* Generating bills of lading and export shipment documentation with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
* Generation, negotiation, and settlement of laytime calculations.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A commerce or business-related degree or strong administrative background in logistics, purchasing, or accounts.
* Unmatched ability to provide attention to detail and accuracy when following processes.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders, including global customers.
* Intermediate-level skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* High levels of organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
