Tutor of English as an Additional Language (EAL) at Ipswich School. PART TIME: 0.4FTE. Closing Date: October 7, 2025. Interview Date: October 13, 2025. From January 2026, or before. 
We wish to appoint a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, autonomous tutor to teach EAL to our Y7 – Y13 overseas boarders, many of whom are from Hong Kong or the PRC. Reporting to the Head of EAL, the successful applicant will have a current TEFL, TESOL or CELTA qualification and will enjoy working with and encouraging young people, all of whom are hard working and willing to learn. 
Responsibilities 
Teach EAL to Y7–Y13 overseas boarders, many from Hong Kong or the PRC. 
Report to the Head of EAL and work with and encourage pupils who are hard working and willing to learn. 
Deliver teaching hours on Mondays and Fridays, as well as Saturday mornings, during term time. 
Potential accommodation and additional remuneration for involvement with the boarding provision. 
Qualifications 
Current TEFL, TESOL or CELTA qualification.
