Our government client is seeking a Project Coordinator with events or contracts management experience.
The primary purpose of this position is to deliver behaviour change events and activities for the community that will foster active transport engagement and promote the City's services, programs and projects.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Engage and manage suppliers for events and activations.
- Contract management and procurement of minor services.
- Coordinate booking systems, including setting up events and responding to participant queries.
- Coordinate project evaluation activities including sending out participant surveys and collating feedback.
- Reporting activities and financials.
- Liaise with stakeholders including businesses, building owners and precincts to promote events or activate their location.
- Assist with the distribution of maps and collateral, including onsite activations, organising mail-outs and dropping off to interested businesses.
- Coordinate with comms and marketing team to schedule marketing activities for activations.
- Undertake other work activities as directed by the Behaviour Change Project Coordinator or Manager Cycling Strategy.
