Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Bid Writer/Coordinator to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in securing work that delivers vital utilities infrastructure across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Content Management & Writing

* Work closely with subject matter experts, project teams, and leadership to develop tailored, persuasive bids, tenders, EOIs, and capability documents.
* Support knowledge management bymaintaining bid libraries, templates, CVs, and project case studies.
* Draft and edit non-technical content such as company profiles, project experience, methodology sections, and executive summaries.
* Compile and edit bid content that showcases technical capabilities, methodologies, and competitive advantages, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Proposal and Bid Coordination

* Coordinate input from subject matter experts across the business
* Manage bid schedules, submission timelines, and compliance checklists.
* Format and compile tender documents, appendices, and CVs.
* Ensure master proposal documents, quality control, layout reviews, and graphics are available and aligned with company guidelines.
* Support strategy, win theme, and methodology sessions to understand key drivers and weave a compelling story into proposals.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our bid and pursuit processes.

The successful applicant will ideally have

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field (desirable)
* 3–5 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into clear and engaging content.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience in bids, proposals, marketing, or related roles within construction, engineering, or professional services (preferred but not essential).
* Capabilities in using Adobe software (InDesign), Microsoft Word & PowerPoint, SharePoint, and CRM software
* Confidence in working across multiple projects and priorities at once.
* A collaborative, proactive mindset and willingness to contribute ideas.
