About the Role
Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
Reporting to the Director, Clinical Governance Unit, the Health Informatics Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all functions of Mental Health's Informatics Unit. This Unit is responsible for the Business As Usual (BAU) functions of the Mental Health Service as it relates to the use of the clinical information systems.
The role works closely with Mental Health Executive, clinical staff and SLHD Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services regarding the development, implementation and maintenance of these systems.

Ideal Candidate
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in health or working towards the same and/or relevant work experience deemed equivalent.
* Proven leadership and change management skills with demonstrated organisational, analytical and conceptual skills.
* Knowledge and experience in the use of eMR applications with a high-level understanding of contemporary issues in clinical systems and applications.
* Previous experience and understanding of clinical workflows as they relate to the provision of clinical care and documentation in various clinical settings.
