Therapeutic Specialist Opportunity
The role involves providing comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendations to support client activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers. This includes falls risk and prevention, equipment requirements, pressure area care and skin integrity management, arthritic joint management, and pain management.
As a qualified Occupational Therapist working across community and residential aged care settings, you will join a large multidisciplinary team delivering personalised, client-centred care. In this role, you'll apply your clinical expertise to provide therapeutic interventions that promote health, wellbeing, and independence.
You will be supported by established clinical treatment pathways designed to optimise rehabilitation outcomes and help clients achieve their individual goals. Duties will include:
* The consumers you will be seeing in the community are referred through government funded models such as Home Care Packages, Short Term Restorative Care, Commonwealth Home Support Programme and Private funding.
* You will provide comprehensive assessments and clinical recommendation to support consumer activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers.
