We have an exciting chance for a Registered Nurse to join our family practice in Varsity Lakes, Queensland on a full-time basis. As our Practice Nurse and Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our team of healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our medical practice.
What you'll be doing
- Providing high-quality nursing care to our patients, including administering injections, dressing wounds, and assisting with various medical procedures.
- Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and coordinating patient appointments.
- Liaising with patients, GPs, and other healthcare providers to ensure the seamless delivery of care.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of practice protocols and procedures.
- Participating in team meetings and professional development activities.
What we're looking for
- Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar nursing role, preferably within a general practice or primary care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
- Proficient in the use of medical software and technology.
- Commitment to providing high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
