Join Our Tasting Room Team
Kaesler Wines is searching for a passionate wine lover to join our small team in Barossa Valley, South Australia. We are looking for someone that has a can‑do attitude and a knack for talking to people from all walks of life. You will be sharing our story and pouring our exciting and award‑winning range of wines.
About the Role
This is a casual position across weekdays and weekend shifts, with the potential for permanent part‑time. Availability over Christmas and New Years 2026 is favorable.
Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa to be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities
* Greeting visitors and providing memorable tasting experiences
* Managing daily operations and maintaining Cellar Door presentation
* Answering inquiries, and helping customers feel truly welcome both in person and over the phone/ via emails
* Assisting with stock control and inventory
* Supporting the success of our Wine Club program
* Representing Kaesler Wines at tastings, industry and tourism events (on‑site and off‑site opportunities)
We're looking for someone who
* Demonstrates intermediate wine knowledge with the ability to confidently discuss varietals, regions, and tasting notes.
* Brings positive energy and can authentically connect with people.
* Is well‑organised, detail‑focused, and proactive.
* Is comfortable answering phone calls and helping customers across all touchpoints.
* Holds a valid RSA.
* Offers flexible weekend availability to cover various shifts as required.
While previous experience in a cellar door or hospitality setting is a plus, we're more than happy to train the right person who brings a great attitude and a background in wine and hospitality.
