The Role

Joining E&P Financial Group as an Associate in our Private Wealth Management team in Canberra, you will work in a small team providing support to the Advisers. This is a great opportunity to work and gain a broad depth of experience in your first role in the industry or to leverage existing experience in this area.

Your role will have a strong administration focus where you will develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the role which will provide you with a solid foundation to grow your career over time. You will assist the team in delivering high levels of service associated with managing a private wealth client base.

A typical day may include:

* Provide technical and administration support to Advisers.
* Place buy/sell orders on the market as requested by clients.
* Manage funds product orders.
* Provide analysis and ongoing monitoring of investments.
* Preparation of formal advice documents (i.e. Statements of Advice).
* Assist with client meetings and respond to client requests.


About You

Key to your success in the role will be:

* A relevant Bachelors' degree (or prior experience in a similar role)
* A strong interest in and/or prior experience in financial services and financial markets
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail
* A willingness to learn
* Your self-driven approach
* Technologically savviness.
