This is a permanent full-time position for a Digital Technologies Teacher at Hammond Park Secondary College.
About the Role
We are looking for an engaging and experienced educator who can teach Digital Technologies to students in Years 7-12. The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, be willing to grow and learn new instructional approaches, and be open to observations and feedback in a culture of shared practice and learning from one another.
Duties and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
* Taught Digital Technologies courses to students in Years 7-12
* Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
* Fostering positive relationships with students, staff, and community members
* Collaborating with colleagues to achieve student outcomes and improve teaching practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
* Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment
* Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number before starting
