About the Roles
Both roles entail
Prep and paint residential interiors and exteriors to a high professional standard
Operate and maintain standard paint equipment & basic power tools (hand-held sanders, spray guns, brushes, rollers)
Safely perform work within Work Health & Safety Guidelines & Usage of appropriate PPE in tasks that require it.
Deliver clean work within allocated time frames and maintain quality, and attention to detail on every project
Pack up & tidy finished projects and move smoothly to the next with minimal downtime
Represent the company professionally, if working within an occupied residential property
A Leading Hand role entails
Directing, guiding & working alongside your team members throughout each project to keep on track
Communicating with your Operations Manager regarding project status, any challenges, or notable occurrences onsite so we can support you with the resources need to meet.
Being accountable for the successful completion of jobs your are supervising
Basic note taking at the end of the day in our Job Management System
Requirements
To be successful in both role, you will need these key criteria:
* Experience in interior & exterior painting (ideally residential)
* A keen mindset
* Ability to work with small teams on site
* Basic English communication proficiency is required to ensure effective workplace coordination
To be considered for a Leading Hand role, you will need these key criteria:
* At least 3 years of experience in interior & exterior painting
* Hold a current drivers license
* Have at least 2 years experience in a supervising position
Highly Desirable
* Own work car/truck
* Working With Children Check
* Licensed to work on Elevated Work Platforms or Ability to safely work at heights (scaffolding, extension ladders with a spotter)
* First aid certifications
