COMPANY
This represents an exciting opportunity with a well established accounting firm based in Moree. This firm has a well known brand name and are active in the local community. The firm is led by a very personable and friendly Director.
POSITION
Due to growth and the need for succession planning, the position of Senior Manager has been created.
This role will involve the following:
* Manage a client portfolio
* Assisting the Director with the day to day operations of the firm
* Manage and mentor junior staff
* Preparation of tax returns and financials for a variety of SME clients
* Div 7A, CGT, FBT matters
CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
* CA/CPA
* Tax Agent Licence or eligible to apply
* 10+ years experience in Australian Public Practice (non negotiable)
* A genuine interest in progressing to partnership and being a business owner
* Solid understanding of tax compliance and exposure to advisory
* Experience with primary production clients would be highly desirable
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills (non negotiable)
* An excellent work ethic, attitude and willingness to learn
