Embark on a rewarding career with our organisation, where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of older Australians. As a Care Services Evaluator, you will be working in our Aged Care Assessment Services (ACAS) team, based across metropolitan and regional locations in the ACT.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough evaluations of Residential Aged Care (RAC) funding assessments using the AN-ACC Assessment Tool
* Evaluate assessments for new residents, respite care, reconsideration, and palliative AN-ACC assessment
To excel in this role, you will need:
* A current accreditation as a RAC Funding Assessor (unrestricted ideally)
* A genuine passion for working with elderly individuals
* A tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline, along with relevant current and unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Medical Officer, Occupational Therapist, or Physiotherapist with 5 years experience delivering clinical services in an aged care setting
* Demonstrated knowledge of the Aged Care Act, AN-ACC Classification principles, and Quality of Care principles
