Travelling Supermarket Manager.
This isn't your typical store role. You won't have a fixed base, you'll travel between remote communities across the Northern Territory and Far North Queensland, stepping in to support and manage stores wherever you're needed. Pack your bags, and we'll take care of everything else.
What You'll Do
Oversee the day‐to‐day running of ALPA supermarkets in remote communities
Coach, mentor, and support local team members
Bring ALPA's nutrition policy to life by promoting healthier choices
Work closely with merchandising, nutrition teams, and community leaders to keep stores running smoothly
What You'll Bring
Hands‐on retail experience (POS, stock control, staff supervision, store operations)
Strong communication and relationship‐building skills across different cultures and languages
Flexibility and resilience - remote work can come with challenges like limited resources, long supply chains, and cultural considerations
A genuine desire to support First Nations communities
