The Opportunity
CSR are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Specification Manager to lead specification activity across Western Australia, South Australia and Northern Territory. This role is critical in building trusted partnerships with architects, designers, consultants and key decision‐makers to ensure CSR products are specified across major projects and converted into sales.
As a Specification Manager, you will proactively develop a strong specification pipeline, influence design decisions early, and champion CSR's product value across commercial and government projects. This role suits someone who enjoys strategic relationship‐building, technical product conversations, and translating specification success into commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Build trusted relationships with architects, designers, and consultants
* Grow a strategic specification pipeline to achieve sales and market growth
* Influence product specification across commercial and government projects
* Deliver professional product presentations and tailored solutions
* Track and convert specifications into sales through disciplined follow‐up
* Forecast project requirements and provide commercial evaluation
* Share market insights and identify new specification opportunities
* Collaborate cross‐functionally to support project delivery and handover
* Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure smooth sales handover
About You
* Formal qualification in a relevant field with 5+ years' experience in architectural specification.
* Proven track record securing large commercial and/or government projects.
* Strong technical understanding of product specifications and the project lifecycle.
* Customer‐centric, with a consultative and solutions‐focused selling approach.
* Strong market insight with awareness of competitors, trends, and opportunities.
* Confident communicator able to influence stakeholders at all organisational levels.
* Highly collaborative with experience working cross‐
