Essential Ingredients.....
Reporting to the Manager - Food Production, Development and Innovation, this hands-on role is essential to our operational success. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- The daily management of food production
- Guiding, influencing, and mentoring team members, including apprentice and trainees
- Oversight and assisting with packaging, labelling and storage of the food products
- Assist in cooking large scale bulk production through to fresh / frozen ready-made meals
- Ensuring product quality through attention to detail and quality testing
- Championing safety through adherence to HACCP and WHS rules and legislation.
About You.....
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced supervisor who has an eye for detail, takes pride in their work and is keen mentor and supervise kitchen staff. Your experience in managing cost, ordering stock, rostering staff, and preparing meals will be called upon. And you will also need:
- A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Knowledge of HACCP management systems
- Experience managing small to medium teams
- An eye for details and quality products
- Influence a positive workplace culture.
For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Cultivate Food and Beverage:
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
