We're currently looking for a Quality Technician – Incoming Quality to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring incoming materials and components meet quality standards before entering production.
This opportunity would suit either an experienced quality technician from a manufacturing environment or a recent graduate in engineering, science or quality looking to start their career in a hands‐on technical role.

About the role:
As a Quality Technician, you will play an important role in protecting product quality by inspecting incoming materials, identifying issues early and working with internal teams and suppliers to resolve them.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting incoming material inspections to ensure components meet specifications
* Performing visual, dimensional and functional inspections using measuring equipment
* Segregating and containing non‐conforming parts to prevent them entering production
* Raising and managing Non‐Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required
* Recording inspection results and maintaining accurate documentation
* Analysing quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
* Working closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain and procurement teams
* Collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with specifications
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining strong safety practices
About you:
We're open to candidates with different levels of experience. You might be an experienced quality technician or someone starting their career in quality or manufacturing.
Ideally, you will have:
* Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, or a relevant qualification in engineering, science or quality
* Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001
* Experience using measurement tools and inspection equipment
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical, process‐driven approach
* Good problem‐solving and root cause analysis skills
* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience with Excel, Word, Power BI or MRP systems such as Pronto will be advantageous.
* Qualifications such as TAFE Cert III, Engineering/Science degree, Six Sigma or Metrology certification would also be highly regarded.
