Maryvale Private Hospital is seeking a full time Finance Manager to lead our growing Support Services Team. You will be joining us at a time of growth to support our hospital in delivering high quality patient care to our community.
The Finance Manager will lead Maryvale Private Hospital’s accounting functions contributing towards a strong and sustainable core. The Finance Manager will be responsible for financial management services including the uplift of data analytics and management reporting capabilities.
The position will continue to improve and manage financial and management accounting practices driving improved effectiveness across the organisation. The position will ensure technology solutions introduced support Maryvale’s reporting and financial requirements, create efficiencies and deliver improved internal and external stakeholder experience.
This role will report directly to the Director of Corporate Services.
Essential Criteria for all roles:
* Tertiary qualification in accounting, banking or finance related field. More than five years’ experience in a similar position managing accounting functions.
* Demonstrated knowledge, experience and understanding of business systems and processes.
* Excellent problem-solving and business analysis skills including the ability to review and improve the design and implementation effectiveness of end to end process, procedures and policies aligned to strategic objectives.
* Strong leadership, interpersonal and relationship management skills with an ability to assess performance, coach and set clear expectations and measures at team and individual staff level.
* Strong communication and engagement skills to drive mutually beneficial outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience with managing or supervising Billings and Debtor functions.
* Membership of the CA or CPA or working towards.
* Knowledge of/experience working in the private hospital sector.
* Experience in budget/management reporting.
* Detailed knowledge of legislative, regulatory and standard compliance requirements as they relate to accounting functions.
* Project management skills and capability.
Remuneration:
Remuneration is paid in line with an Individual Agreement basis with generous base salary and access NFP to salary packaging.
