Reporting to our Horsham Service Supervisor, this full‑time, field‑based position is perfect for a skilled and self‑driven Resident Field Service Diesel Technician who thrives on solving problems, exceeding customer expectations, and keeping industries moving.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Onsite technical troubleshooting and fault finding including; diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines
- Providing outstanding customer service to our loyal customers
- Compiling and completing accurate reporting
- Working autonomously to manage your time and maximise efficiency
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Liaising with our internal service and parts department
- Maintaining a William Adams service vehicle
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:
- Qualified Diesel Technician with experience on Caterpillar machines (preferred)
- 2+ years experience working in a Field Service role (preferred)
- Have advanced mechanical diagnostic skills with Cat computer diagnostics knowledge (great to have)
- A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
- A solid commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
- Hold a current Drivers and Light Rigid Licence (heavy vehicle licence is also highly regarded)
- Proven ability to be self‑motivated and to work unsupervised
