My client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to their team in a permanent capacity. They are widely known for delivering engineered solutions designed to improve safety, efficiency, and productivity on-site.
Responsibilities
* Day to day manage a small team - Workforce planning and scheduling and training and mentoring the team
* Oversees daily quality operations and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the business, ensuring all quality processes align with industry standards
* Develop, maintain, and manage core quality processes such as non-conformance reporting, change management, audits, process capability analysis, and equipment calibrations.
* Oversee project documentation including material disposition records and inspection test plans.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with recognised quality management standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
* At least 10 years of experience working in a similar manufacturing environment.
* An engineering degree or Trade qualification (machining).
* Previous experience managing a team
* Qualifications directly related to quality systems, such as auditing, ISO 9001, welding inspections, mechanical measurement
