Your New Role
As the Senior Manager, Responsible Investments, you will support the Head of Responsible Investments and collaborate with the ESG Integration and Equities teams. Your key responsibilities include:
Setting strategy and implementing Stewardship activities, including engagement, voting, and policy advocacy both domestically and globally.
Handling sectors, geographies, and themes such as Climate Risk, Modern Slavery, Diversity, and Governance.
Defining and executing Aware Super's Responsible Ownership strategy related to Stewardship and Active Ownership.
Developing and leading the Stewardship strategy, incorporating research and initiatives to create value for members.
Prioritizing policy and advocacy themes to support stewardship activities.
Managing a team of RI professionals and analysts.
How do you exceed our expectations?
Possess a relevant postgraduate qualification in Investments, Finance, Responsible Investment, or related fields.
Have at least 10 years' experience in Stewardship, Responsible Investment, or related industries.
Demonstrate passion and experience in ESG, including voting, engagement, policy, and research.
Exhibit strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and a focus on service delivery and objectives.
Be proactive, detail-oriented, results-driven, with strong analytical skills and investment/ESG knowledge.
Be comfortable with risk management and curious about understanding risk contexts.
