Dangerous Goods Tanker Driver (Fuels) - Launceston
Tas Petroleum is a family-owned wholesale fuel distributor that delivers to all regions of Tasmania.
We currently have a vacancy for a permanent Dangerous Goods Tanker Driver in Northern Tasmania, based out of our Launceston operations facility.
The shift will be based on a 72-hour fortnight: consisting of six days on and eight days off – working Thursday, Friday, Saturday one week and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday the next.
The following are essential requirements:
* Current and valid MC or HC Licence
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and safe work practices, including fatigue management
* An understanding of the requirements of shift work
* Knowledge of basic manual handling procedures
* Strong work ethic
* Customer service
* Sound communication skills.
These are desirable and/or would be advantageous:
* Fuels experience
* Basic Fatigue Management (TLIF0005)
* Dangerous Goods (DG) Licence
* Safe Load Pass (SLP)
