Title: Manager, Product Line ANZ

This role has overall responsibility for managing the Broadband Passive Product portfolio for homes passed and homes connected in the ANZ Region. Responsibilities include product strategy, development, pricing, profitability, and marketing.
This position requires cross-functional management to achieve desired business outcomes with Sales, R&D, Engineering, operations, manufacturing, and distribution channels. Strong emphasis is placed on market and customer requirements and delivering successful products that meet customer and business objectives.
This role can be based out of Australia, preferably Melbourne or Sydney.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage the product life cycle, including revenue attainment, gross margin, and EBIDTA targets.
* Support sales and marketing efforts by researching market opportunities and competitors.
* Provide expertise on competitive product offers and act as a main customer contact on product requirements.
* Develop new product visioning and idea generation, and contribute to technology and product roadmap development.
* Represent Product Line Management in the product development process.
* Develop business cases, including financial evaluations.
* Set cost and pricing targets.
* Conduct engineering and operation reviews during product launch.
* Understand existing portfolios, cost positions, and customer price points.
* Document customer and market product development opportunities.
* Manage profit and loss (P&L), evaluating and initiating cost reductions and inventory levels.
* Lead implementation of product plans, including new product launches and go-to-market strategies.
* Manage sales and marketing materials.
* Attend trade shows and interface with sales workforce and FAE.
* Represent product definition into engineering teams.
* Support APAC Regional Channel Manager for product-related requirements.
* Responsible for launching new products.
* Develop marketing collateral material and conduct product training.
You will excel if you have:
* Minimum 10-12 years relevant product management experience in IT industry, preferably in Networking or Broadband domain.
* Strong technical understanding of FTTx and customer architectures.
* Proven ability to grow a product line or work on new products.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Assertive, persuasive, and creative problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
