Clinical Practice Manager / Business Developer
RM Therapy Pty Ltd – Bundoora, VIC
Full-time | Multidisciplinary Allied Health Practice | Leadership & Growth Chance
About RM Therapy
RM Therapy is a multidisciplinary private practice and registered NDIS and Medicare provider, offering Psychology, Positive Behaviour Support, Speech pathology and Allied Health services to individuals and families across Melbourne.
Our team also provides Mental health support under TAC (Transport Accident Commission), WorkCover, and Family Violence programs, working with clients who have experienced complex trauma, disability, and mental health challenges.
At RM Therapy, we pride ourselves on delivering compassionate, person-centred, and evidence-based care to help our clients achieve independence, well-being, and meaningful outcomes.
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Practice Manager / Business Developer to oversee day-to-day clinic operations, lead a multidisciplinary team, and support our ongoing business growth and partnerships within the community.
About the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a dual leadership role that combines practice management and business development responsibilities.
The successful candidate will ensure smooth and compliant daily operations — coordinating both administrative staff and clinicians — while also driving strategic growth, partnerships, and referral networks across the NDIS, Medicare, TAC, WorkCover, and Family Violence sectors.
This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys combining organisational excellence with relationship management and service innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Practice & Operations Management Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring effective workflow, staff coordination, and high-quality client service. Lead and support administrative staff and coordinate clinicians to ensure smooth communication and consistent performance. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to refine processes, policies, and systems that improve operational efficiency. Manage client intake, scheduling, feedback, and service coordination across all funding streams (NDIS, Medicare, TAC, WorkCover, Family Violence). Oversee billing, invoicing, and data entry for accuracy and compliance. Support onboarding and orientation for new team members and assist with recruitment coordination.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensure adherence to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, Medicare, TAC, and WorkCover requirements. Maintain clinical and administrative documentation to meet audit standards. Support the Operations Manager with incident management, risk reporting, and continuous quality improvement. Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and best practice.
- Business Development & Growth Identify and pursue opportunities to expand RM Therapy's services and partnerships. Build and maintain relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, GPs, Family Violence networks, TAC/WorkCover case managers, and community organisations. Represent RM Therapy at community events, networking forums, and professional expos. Collaborate with leadership to develop marketing strategies, outreach initiatives, and digital engagement plans. Analyse referral patterns, service trends, and client feedback to guide business decisions. Contribute to the development of new programs and service models aligned with community needs. Lead with empathy and professionalism to maintain a positive, high-performing workplace. Facilitate communication between clinicians, admin staff, and leadership. Encourage teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Model RM Therapy's values of integrity, compassion, and innovation in all interactions.
