This is a full-time position for someone who loves solving paint problems, building relationships, getting things done, and ensuring customers receive their orders safely and on time.
About the role
You'll report to the Store Manager and be the go-to paint expert for customers and trade partners.
Whether it's automotive, marine, industrial or residential projects, you'll help customers choose the right products, match colours precisely, and keep the store running like clockwork – including delivering paint and supplies directly to customers when required.

What you'll do
Deliver exceptional customer service across all paint ranges and consumables.
Tint and mix paint, using colour-matching software to bring ideas to life.
Process sales and invoices via POS; handle phone and email orders.
Prepare quotes quickly and follow up with suppliers.
Pick, pack and organise deliveries, includingsafe and timely driving of customer orders.
Receipt incoming stock against purchase orders.
Keep the showroom and warehouse presentation-ready.
Support warehouse operations and assist across the store as needed.
Resolve customer enquiries and complaints with professionalism.
Follow Workplace Health & Safety procedures at all times.
Perform other reasonable duties as directed.
What we're looking for
Sales or trade experience; paint knowledge a plus.
Strong communication skills – clear on the phone and face-to-face.
Customer-first attitude with pride in building long-term relationships.
Organised, detail-oriented and reliable.
Physically capable of handling weights of 20kg+.
Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
Experience in similar industries will be highly regarded.
Valid driver's licence and safe driving record.
