About the opportunity
The role is responsible for leading the Community Development Team to deliver responsive, inclusive and sustainable community programs and services. The role oversees the implementation of the Community Funding Program and plays a critical role in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Community Services Lead supports contract management processes and assists in the operational management of community facilities to ensure that resources are effectively used to meet the local community needs.
About you
We are looking for a person with the following
- Tertiary qualification in Community Services or related discipline
- Extensive experience in community development, program management, or community grants administration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary issues and initiative in relation to the deliver of community development
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership and team supervision experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
- Knowledge of local government or community service sector delivery
- Understanding of contracts and facilities management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
