What You\'ll Be Doing
The Registered Nurse using best practice evidence delivers person-centered nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team. Provides supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve people focused quality care.
Responsibilities
As above in the overview, delivering lifesaving care in a fast-paced Emergency Department, supporting teamwork, and applying evidence-based practice to patient care.
Selection Criteria
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
* Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing and/or equivalent work experience with demonstrated competencies in Emergency Nursing
* Demonstrated competencies and knowledge in nursing care within a multidisciplinary team
* Effective clinical communication through information technology, written and verbal means with strong interpersonal skills
* Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for person-centered care and quality improvement
* Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate to deliver quality nursing care; leadership and change management in coordination of care
* Recent clinical experience relevant to the position with ongoing professional development
* Ability to prioritize and organize workload with integrity and accountability
