About the team/business unit
The Assurance and Risk team plays a pivotal role for safeguarding Landgate's integrity, reputation, and overall well-being. The team is inclusive of the governance, compliance, audit, risk management, business continuity and insurance functions.
About the role
This position is responsible for conducting complex internal audits and reviews including financial, operational, compliance and computerised systems using a risk-based approach to ensure that corporate governance, risk management and internal control environment arrangements are operating efficiently and effectively. This position also supports business areas throughout Landgate through advice and consultancy activities and where necessary, negotiates an effective outcome for change with senior managers.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position, however Part Time arrangements may be considered.

Role Requirements
To be successful in this role, please demonstrate:
* Demonstrated experience in providing advice and practical solutions to operational business areas on shortcomings and issues relating to risk management, internal audit and governance.
* Well-developed report writing skills that include evidence of conceptual, analytical, organisational and research abilities.
* Knowledge of the Financial Management Act 2006, regulations and Treasurer's Instructions and other relevant legislation, government regulations and policy.
Desirable
* Possession of a current membership as a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) with CPA Australia, Chartered Accountant (CA) with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Professional Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (PMIIA) or membership with the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).
