Parts Interpreter Role
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Parts Interpreter to join our team in Pakenham, VIC. As a key member of our Parts Warehouse, you will play a vital role in assisting customers with their parts needs under moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities: Assist all Distribution Business customers, technicians, and other parts personnel in securing needed parts and supplies. Act as the first contact for customers, addressing their needs and issues promptly. Process and receive orders and quotes in a timely manner. Advise on part suitability and talk customers through the best solution for the job. Carry out customer parts counter duties including receiving parts calls, greeting, and assisting walk-in customers, completing and processing paperwork, and handling cash and credit card transactions. Support day-to-day operations including stock management, shipping/receiving, inventory tasks, and other parts-related duties as required.
Requirements: Possess parts interpreter experience in an Automotive or similar industry. Demonstrate excellent customer service and effective communication skills. Build strong customer relationships, problem-solve, and collaborate with key stakeholders. Engine knowledge is an advantage. Ability to learn new software and processes. High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and troubleshoot complex tasks. Forklift ticket would be highly desirable. Valid car driver's license is required.
