About the Role:
This is a specialist position contributing to the multi-disciplinary team management of women with mesh complications consequent to mesh insertion vaginally or abdominally for urinary incontinence and vaginal prolapse.
Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver highly specialist psychological assessments, formulations and evidence-based interventions for women affected by mesh complications.
* Develop psychological formulations that integrate information from assessments within a coherent framework.
* Evaluate and make decisions about treatment options taking into account complex factors concerning historical and developmental processes.
Essential Qualifications:
* Doctoral level training in Psychology.
* Registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with HCPC.
* Experience working with diverse client groups across various care settings.
* Skills in individual and group work, programme planning, and evaluation.
