We have an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Analyst to join the team of a major iron ore operator. The position is Perth based working a hybrid week of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home on $77 per hour. The position is offered on a rolling 12-month contract with potential for a further 12 months with a mid-January 2026 start.
About The Role
This position is characterised by very high volumes of transactions and is heavily reliant on data and the effective analysis to understand trends and drive key objectives. Working with a small team the position is responsible for:
* Spend reporting and creation of dashboards to improve visibility
* Streamline and automation of the procurement process
* Consolidation of providers
* Implementing the use of automation tools (including bots) for price management and requests for quotes.
* Preparing price files into SAP
* Provide analytical support as required.
About You
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
* Well-developed analytical skills with intermediate to advanced Excel.
* Working knowledge of Power BI
* Exposure to SAP desirable
* Positive "can do" attitude
* Desire to work with a great team
