Ford McCarthy Riverton is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our Riverton office in a senior, on-site role. The Opportunity
You will take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, with a strong focus on primary production and agribusiness clients, and play a key role in the continued growth and succession of the firm. Key responsibilities:
* Manage and advise a portfolio of business and individual clients, primarily within the primary production sector
* Prepare and review income tax returns and BAS
* Deliver proactive tax planning and advisory services
* Interpret tax legislation and ensure compliance, including industry-specific considerations
* Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
About You
* Minimum 3 years' experience in public practice tax
* Registered Tax Agent
* Strong technical expertise with well-developed advisory skills
* Experience with, or interest in, primary production / agribusiness clients
* Commercial mindset with an interest in leadership and future ownership
* Confident communicator who values genuine client relationships
* Willing to work on-site in Riverton, SA (this is not a remote role)
