Join a vibrant and dedicated team of professionals working together to provide exceptional support services to students facing complex challenges. We are seeking an experienced Senior Student Case Manager to play a vital role in coordinating sensitive cases, ensuring governance and oversight align with policy, regulatory standards, and best practice.

This is an opportunity to lead improvements in how we support students facing challenges such as sexual harm, domestic violence, mental health concerns, and other serious incidents. If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact and ready to help shape a safer, more supportive University community, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities:

* Coordinate complex case management from resolution to closure, using frameworks, reporting tools, and debriefs to track performance and drive service improvements.
* Lead the Student Safer Communities Critical Response Group, ensuring all actions align with established policies and procedures.
* Monitor and analyse disclosure, report, and case outcome data to drive continuous improvements in systems, processes, documentation, communications and/or prevention and education programs.
* Provide expert advice to leadership on systemic risks, emerging trends and opportunities to enhance complex case management practices.
* Undertake comprehensive risk and needs assessments to guide support planning and ensure the safety and wellbeing of all involved.
* Design and deliver educational campaigns, training programs, and resources that promote prevention, awareness, and effective responses to student harm.

Requirements:

* A postgraduate qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Risk Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
* Extensive experience managing complex student or client cases within a university, legal, government, or human services environment.
* Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice, duty of care and legislation and policies relevant to the higher education context.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify systemic issues and implement service and process improvements.
* Experience designing and delivering programs, training or initiatives that promote community education and address problem behaviours.
* Demonstrated project management and organisational skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and balancing competing priorities to meet multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
* Proven ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including Legal Services, Counselling and Wellbeing, Academic Registrar, Guild representatives, and Safer Communities.

Benefits:

* Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.
* Professional development opportunities.
* Competitive salary and benefits package.
* Collaborative and inclusive work culture.
